Anyone have any ideas for a good cookbook program. I am looking for one to be able to put recipes in. Pretty much I want to put my grandmothers homemade recipes into a book and I would like a program that would help to make it easy to organize and write the recipes up in. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.
thats a hard one, try google imo

The only program I found is called Cook's Palate and it costs like 50 bucks to buy, so I didn't know if anyone knows of similar programs that are free or quite a bit cheaper.

What in particular are you looking for out of this program?
It might be more work, but I'm thinking you could do the same thing with creative use of worksheets and hyperlinks in Microsoft Excel.

It would be nice to have a program that separates like the ingredients and then is able to list steps instead of having to do that all manually. That is mostly what I am looking for. Mainly to be able to do this:
PB & J Sandwich
2 - Pieces of Bread ( Any type )
Peanut Butter ( Crunchy or creamy )
Jelly ( your choice of flavor )
1. Separate bread from each other.
2. Spread desired amount of peanut butter on one slice, and jelly on the other.
3. Put separated bread together to form a sandwich.
4. Eat and enjoy.
Serves 1
Apprx. prep time 5 minutes
Something to be able to have recipes be able to do that without having to manually separate ingredients, directions, and extra info is basically what I am looking for.
