Just out of curiosity, what does a private torrent site do when a member has a dynamic ip? From what I've read, some sites purge users with mulitple IP's that login.
I'm one of the lucky ones at the moment. I have a static IP. But in a few weeks, I will be moving and my isp where I'm moving to, has a dynamic one.
Should I be concerned? My new isp using a multitude of IP ranges.
Thoughts?

Read the FAQs of the trackers, some tracker can handle dinamic IPs some don't. Your best bet is to tell the staff about this imo.

I second that, it depends on the trackers, so just look at FAQs, and tell staff.

You have your own passkey on most of Your sites which will detect that it is You. IP changes in same city (inside smaller states) dont catch any attention.
I have had dynamic all of my life and If i remember correctly only site I had problems with that was midnight torrents which required that IP must match with login. (probably fixed by now cause I stopped using this site long time ago)
So Again "No". You have nothing to worry about. It may even come in handy If You get disabled somehow from some site and after IPchange You can just register fresh account again. You need an invite first ofc.
