i'd recommend maxthon to you guys, so easy to use... easier than firefox i think.... navigating from sites to sites is one click away, also, ur favorite sites are in front of you... u don't have to click on a drop to to get em' ... ect... lots of good things about maxthon

I use firefox because it is very customizable with all of the add-ons. IE.... ew.... when i have nothing left to use. Chrome is fast but does not have enough features and takes up too much memory when I have a lot of tabs open. Opera is pretty good, the dial feature is nice but I with Opera was more customizable.

I usually use Firefox 3 for OSX because I love the Gecko engine and you can't beat the add-ons. Fire-FTP and Web Developer toolbar are money. But Safari 3.2 does have some great features on OSX 10.5 like the ability to create a dashboard widget from almost anything on any website.

I've been curious about Google Chrome, haven't tried it on a Windows box but I can't wait until it comes out for OSX.

SAFARI 4 is actually the best web browser so far.!!!

Micorsoft IE8 is pure scrap!!!, Firefox is friendly but sucks to much RAM and CPU resources. Opera is trying to improve...but is on the way.

I find Opera blazing fast, but still staying with Firefox, mainly because I have it configured for my needs already and you can always extend it's features on demand. I personally think that in a short period of time, Chrome might become quite a bit of competition for Firefox in a few years.

lol firefox seems to be the clear winner! I would like to use chrome in the future when I can add my favourite add-ons, then it may become my favourite browser as I heard it's fast and it's also light on the system, good for old PCs, as firefox takes ages to load on them , lol.

These add-ons are extencial for me:
1. noscript: disable unwanted scripts on unsafe sites, helps with add blocking too
2. xmark: sync your bookmarks/favourites acorss browsers and PCs at home or work
3. globefish ( translation tool, compatable with 100% of the sites out there )
4. autopager: display more than one page of a site in the same tab

well the 4th isn't that important really lol, if I can get the first 3 to work it will be good for a start..
