I know I have posted about this topic several times but it still bothers me.
kris what happed to this guy?
Could we just change the Hall of Shame to a Hall of Shame/Banned thread? It seems every time I turn around another member is banned. I the only reason I care is I usually have given a invite or account to one of these members and seems like a waist of my time. I have tried giveaways to higher rep they got banned. New members they get banned and even some older member they get banned too. If we have a thread dedicated to members who get banned maybe all the cheaters traders and scammers would get the idea not to f*** with us here at TI and just move on.
Another deterrent would be posting or moving the active members/banned # so others could see it more easy. New members sign up can see how many get banned, a dedicated banned thread with reason why others got banned. Even if this cuts the cheaters down by a couple of percent it would be worth a couple of key strokes.
I know most of the members that get banned have multiple accounts. If we post how members are caught having muliple accounts would this help out too? I am guessing its by a IP address but I have no idea other than that. Maybe this is a secret that should be kept or maybe it isn't.
I am not complaining I think the staff does a great job with keeping on top of all the issues here. So thanks for that. With all the horror stories I see when new members come here from others sites I am happy how safe it is here.
