I think that there should be a tut section for the forums here. Lots of forums have them and I know that I could add a few tuts myself that I am aware of.

I know some XP hacking tuts and some non-hacking tuts for general computer improvement {the kind that not everyone knwos}, and even some that others might find amusing.

I think also that a lot of people would like to read other people's tuts as well b/c everyone benefits. Amright?

what do you think admins? Lets have a short discussion here in this thread about it.

What kind of tuts allowed and so forth; what sort of tuts pple would like to see; what sort of tuts others could provide, etc...etc...

I'll start:

I like to hack on my computer sometimes. I've discovered some email spoofing hacks, as well as configuring spy-bot S&R that'll make it run and update upon start-up so that you never have to do it manually again.

Other hacks that I've done are fun ones as well as many other ones that are quite useful.

People could post bittorrent client tuts for example, others could post tuts on softwares to make it run better that the software authors did not necessarily provide or that is not very well known by the general users of that software.

Hacks that could cause harm should not be allowed in a tut section cuz thats just plain stupid.

Though hax that could expose frailities in a system without the direct intent to cause harm could be allowed. For example, the mail spoofing thing that I've mentioned above. Though the auther would have to decide if the tut could be used for harmful purposes or not and also the admins could delete that specific tut for obvious reasons.

YOur thoughts?

Good idea josh, maybe you can start working on some tutorials and then present them to the staff, if they like what they see maybe they'll support you.
