Where to start now Demonoid is down

Hey guys, as i said in my intro, I'm looking to join a few private trackers, and it seemed that Demonoid was the place to start, but as it appears to have been taken down, I'm unsure of how, and where to start, especially since I have no invites to give out.

Any help, tips, advice or invites would be massively appreciated. :)

not to worry, demonoid is/was an incredible site, but it's not the end of the world.
I suggest you start with some open sign up sites and build up a nice reputation in the community. That way people will start noticing you're a good honest and trustworthy member (assuming you're one lol) and will invite you the other cool places.

Two good places I suggest you start with are:

Bitsoup - very large userbase and general content
]http://www.bitsoup.org/signup.php
(not always open, but keep trying and eventually you'll get it. No invite system there, you'll have to keep checking the sign up page for an open space)

Torrent-Damage
http://www.torrent-damage.net/signup.php (leave invite ticket field blank. they said they will open for some time until max user limit were reached. Don't know if it's still open, if not, you'll get a closed signed up after sending your registration).

Remember: ALWAYS read sites' faq and rules before doing anything, and follow them.

None can compare to demonoids huge amount of contents, but both are good trackers.
Check also the sign up section, you never know..

scc or supertorrents are decent as well and quite easy to get an invite to. try the giveaway section

I heard about zamunda.net but I cant access the site for some reason.
Torrentleech is a better alternative I think.

Torrent Storage is a Demonoid clone. They have open sign ups. I signed up a couple days ago and was shocked at the number of members. Worth a look in my opinion.

It's sad now that demonoid is gone, it has taken me a while but I am starting to get into some decent trackers. I still haven't found the perfect one yet but when I do I'll let you know.

If you are a newer user and forgive me if you are not, I would try to get in to S*C, Supertorrents, TB or if you are in need immediately, try Araditracker as it is an open tracker (one of my favorite I might add).

I wouldn't recommend TPB cause there R l00ts of fakes there. I hate that.
Like a month or 2 ago i made such topic in the open signup section. I think it has more than 100 sites u can choose from. :) So u can check it out. U might like something else too.
And AradiTracker was 1 of my favorite too. I gave away my account cause i had huge buffer and my friend has a really..like really crappy net. :D But u can also make a new one. That's the good thing about the open trackers.. they're not that pretencious. Altho there is one site- Titanium torrents.. or smth like that -the staff was awful. Like they're F*N or something. LoL

I'd say Zamunda is a very good place to start
