We should be able to give Negative REP :?

HI,

I think we can give a Negative REP as before because there are still idiots who ask an Inv. although they are in this trackers or who's annoying the user or spamming in the threads to reach 100 posts or etc.

I can give an example because this Idiot got banned finally. "faes" was an total idiot because he got 3 IPT Invite and he got banned from IPT cause of multiple account.

Czone was open as u know he has signed up and opened a thread Account GA for this tracker and his rule was 1st REP then I'll send the details! He was always annoying the people,as I for everyone do I was watching him.

Before this new REP System he had 4 or 5 Red Stars after that he has had the same REP count with all members although with my bests (I don't care what happened because I know them good :!: that's enough and I don't care REP either).

Then he has started to ask an Inv. again.I've warned some of my friends about him but I can't warn every people for every idiot.Negative REP was a clue for the users to know them.

If we can give a REP to the people who has helped someone or shared good info with community we can give a Negative REP to the idiots spammers and who is annoying the people.

It's just a suggestion and a little bit my request form my m8s.

sounds good,if the person who receive your invite doesn't keep good ratio of that tracker or trade the invite then the person should be given neg-rep,but it is hard to give negrep too,it may lauch personal attack,I think if someone doesn't behave good,he will finally be banned from here

You can't ban every person for every behavior!

But if you can give a negative Rep it's enough to warn them because with negative REP it's harder to get an Invite!

If you looks like a tomato with negative REP noone can give an Inv. easily!

If the person fcked your Inv. or did trade with it you can report him directly to the mods then he'll be banned but negative rep is not enough for this kinda things.

Hahah.. yeah it kinda sounds like ebay! but then you would have disputes etc and need to resolve the issues.... It would be easier to just tell the mods and get the f&(*er banned.

Edit: I can see a lot of abuse with the negative rep. I mean, you just say something that someone doesn't like and they'll neg rep you.

As I said you can't ban every person for any behavior!

And like for the trackers you can choose a reason if it was unfair you can tell the staff then they can check it.

For example you shouldn't rep someone if u don't receive an Inv. if you do you'll get banned.It's like that if someone rep you as negative although you didn't do sth wrong this person can be punished as well.

as for if some gets banned for bad ratio and don't have a legit reason in my opinion they don't deserve to be here, we are a sharing community not just takers.

Maybe if you could leave a note why they got it would be good to.

its a great idea but then those noobs are going to give us negative reps for just to annoy us.

but this could be... there would be some user-classes and for ( new user, user, power user and above) power users and above can give neg-rep.. this could work out.

If you ban some user who gave a neg REP just bcoz he received negative REP nobody can Neg Rep spamming :)

The Rules have to be strict and at the first time you might be ban the some person who didn't follow the rules to show another user that the Rules have to be followed and they have to be careful about it.

If they see it they can't annoying or making such an idiot things.

As everyone know we had this Neg Rep before and it kinda worked id we change sth like the new system it could work better.

I don't think they would abuse it. It was available before the new rep system and I never saw anybody abusing it before.

Maybe if all negative rep was logged and the admins could look at the log and see for what reasons it was given.

Admins could see how often people gave negative rep ect.

But i guess there would be some form of abuse

I guess we could maintain a log for it jst as the ban log so that the users will also know why they got the neg rep and if they got it unnecessarily as smyrna said they can always ask for it.

Back before the rep rules were changed and restarted, anyone could give anyone rep good or bad. Obviously, if a member did no good, negative rep was added informing people to be warned about the person. I think with the structure that is in place now, there is no need for negative rep. The mods are pretty good at weeding the bad seeds out from TI. If you think someone might deserve bad rep, you should pm a mod regarding why and show some proof. More than likely, the person will be warned and/or banned.

well I can still remember the negative rep that this site had..hmmm
like what nidu said,we had it before but the mod/admin/owner decided to replace it w/ a better system..now we can just simply pm any of them if we see any bad member lurking around..
