I have no idea how to show proof of seeding. I thought it was just getting the site up and hitting the print screen button, but for some reason i think I am an idiot and I have no idea how to show anyone my upload/download proof. Any help would be much appreciated, and sorry if this seems dumb for me to ask help on. Also if any of you get a chuckle out of my not knowing, then good cause I am sitting here laughing too.

after you hit print screen, what i do is open up paint copy the screenshot into paint and save the file. then host it on a site like photobucket

Well the big problem I am having is that print screen isn't saving anything anywhere. I hit the button and can't find the screen anywhere. I think my computer is messing with me.

Not sure if I am answering or on the same page as you but...

When you push the print screen button, it is similar to copying a piece of text. Next, open up paint program and "paste" (either control+V or by right clicking and selecting paste). Even though you may not have copied the screen picture like a piece of text (control+C or rightclicking, copy) the print screen function copies the picture.

Anywho, open paint after you've pressed print screen and then paste the screen image by the above method. You should see the still picture of your computer screen. You can then edit it using paint.

If the problem is of the print screen function not actually working, then I personally would not have an idea as to how to fix that.

Hopefully this helped!

Use "FastStone Capture" which is very small program and saves a lot of time compared with this paint mess.

...bot if one types _really_ fast:
prnt scrn ->"Windows-button"+R ->mspaint->Enter->ctrl+v->ctrl+s->Enter

But then, (s)he is stuck with a big *.bmp named 'nameless'...

Best way in my opinion (I'm Firefox user) is FireShot - an extension to FF browser. You can make a snapshot of a page you are watching and save it in any format you want. Fast and simple (2-3 clicks)! :)

Also if you have Vista, there's a new program under "Accessories" called the snipping tool. I've found that to be useful you can save it as a tiny jpg then and then host it somewhere as previously mentioned.

... and he's stuck with cutting the pic cause no need to give hole screenshot as proof.
No probs with that in FastStone (http://www.faststone.org/Images/FSCaptureScreenShot.gif) ...

...and I do want to add, please make sure that you are covering up all pertinent information (username, exact up/down ratio, IP address) that may link you to the site you are proofing. I am not implying that you have not thought of this, but I have seen a lot of people forgetting to do this.
