What does everyone think of having a section on here done by some folks that have "Stud Ratios" at the hard to keep the ratio up sites like What.cd? and Waffles.fm

I thought about putting up some noob guidelines here in regards to seeding practices and how to keep your ratio's up and some pitfalls to avoid, who here hasn't heard the story of a noob getting an account downloading a DVD and BAM! they are about to get booted because they couldn't afford the hit to their ratio? :jocolor:

I think the review section is enough, this kind of tutorials are specific for each tracker that is why one important feature of a review is the "ratio building strategy" provided by the creator of the torrent. If needed, further ratio building strategys will be added to certain reviews to improve quality. So why make another section?

sniff...it was just a thought. I hear questions every day on the music trackers, personally I would love to know what the top ratios are DL'ing. I DL radiohead just because it had a bunch of leechers and I only grabbed a few songs not the whole one as some of the guides say to do and I still haven't seen a noticeable increase.

What.cd and waffles are some of the hardest sites to seed on, even if they have freeleech. Best prctice is no doubt uploading your own torrents and seed with a fast connection.

yeah I agree that is what I have been doing especially at waffles seems like that one is a little easier to put stuff on there that isn't already up. My connection can't get any faster believe me I asked. It's supposed to be at 3mbs but it only hits 2.5 on average, and even if I wanted to pay more, where I live, this is it, take it or leave it.

Well, 2,5 MB should be enough if you seed like crazy. Personally i am thinking of giving both of my accounts away cause they tend to piss me of. They are the only trackers i could be power user and i am not.

yeah, I hear you. My pc is on24/7 and as long as the thing is on leave utorrent running as well but like you said it's impossible to get great ratios on those or near impossible that's why I thought a list like that would come in pretty handy Only problem is, it would have to be kept up to date and that takes a lot of time.

If anyone makes such a list i will gladly add it to the review though i do not think it's necessary.

I think is good idea, also Dreamsearch it is necessary solution it can be a improve of reviews :)
