EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Video CardAwarded: Best Video Card for Performance
Review: Similar to Nvidia's 9800GX2 design, Nvidia's GTX295 packs two underclocked GTX260 cores into one physical video card (and one PCI-e x16 slot). The result is blazing performance from a single card, and the possibility of running a second GTX295 in tandem presents the ultimate in graphics performance. The drawbacks of SLI and scalability still remain, however, as is the case with any multi-GPU setup. Expect to pay a heavy premium for such a high-end card, though it's a fairly good value considering the performance. You'll also need a heavy-duty power supply to run it and plenty of airflow to keep the card cool. But if you want the fastest single 3D card currently available, this is it. As a bonus, the card includes both DVI and HDMI output.
