Hi,

I will begin by saying that i am not a collector. By many trackers, i dont mean 'thousands' of trackers.
So some of us here have 5-10-15 trackers, where u have unique username and password [its better to have unique passwords]. So it sometimes become a lot of pain to remember all of those passwords. Opera [internet browser] can come in handy here.

Things that opera offer :

1) Magic Wand - it remembers your password and your username for each tracker [can be other webpages] you have logged in atleast once.

2)Personal Bar - You can make bookmarks in the "Personal Bar" for easy access.

Working :

Magic Wand - This bottun is located on the right hand side of the "Home" button. when you log in to a torrent site [can be any other webpage] giving your username and password for the first time, opera asks your whether or not to save it. Now here, you have to click "save". Now next time when you visit this torrent site where you have to enter your name and password, just click the "magic wand" button or press "ctrl + enter". Your username and password will be provided by opera and you will be automatically logged in.

Its very simple. But torrent sites where you have got to enter an additional "catcha" code...you have to enter that manually.Magic wand cannot help you there.

Personal Bar - Open Opera, go to tools > appearence > toolbars. Here check the box "Personal Bar". You 'may' get a blank bar above the "Tab bar" [and below the "File" menu]
Now Login to the torrent site. Go to the "browse" page of that torrent site, since this is the page we want to bookmark. Drag and drop the Current tab [where your current torrent site is opened], on the Personal Bar. You will get a bookmark on the Personal bar along with an icon, representing the torrent site. Once you get the bookmark, you can right click on it to customize [you can change its nick etc].

You can check out how my opera looks -

All done. Cheers and Enjoy.

For security reasons, it is NOT advisable to let your browser remember your username/passwords.

Write them down :-)

I've never really understood this because if someone REALLY wants your passwords they will get them even if they aren't on your computer. Unless someone physically has access to your computer then you're pretty safe IMO. I don't let my browser remember my passes but I was keylogged and was infected with a RAT and had all my accounts compromised anyway.
