When anyone makes a topic for his invite to share, is the inviter allowed to ask the ip-adres from the people who are interested in the invite?. (as a proof)
Maybe by typing or asking for a screenshot from: http://whatismyipaddress.com/.

Hope to get a soon response.

If you want an invite you have to respect your inviter's rules (if reasonable of course).

In this case, I guess you have asked for a tracker that is banning some countries and ip ranges, thereby, your inviter has probably asked to make sure you'll not get banned and to avoid risking his account or his invitation privilege.

I suppose it answers your question, if yes then this thread should be closed.

cheers,

Edit: snow got a point here (next post) and a speedtest is generally enough to know someone's location. Therefor, I highly advice you to not communicate your ip address to anyone (especially someone you don't know).

Yeah I don't think I would directly send anyone my ip address. You can just get profile links and a speedtest to see where people are from. I've never seen anybody ask for an ip address and personally wouldn't do it
