I tend not to use ff stuff until it's stable. Hackers can exploit and things, so safer that way...

Yah, true... Just wondered if anyone messed with it at all, I wouldn't use it for my day-to day, but I'd just like to check it out and see what it's like. I may do, if so I'll let y'all know... :)
i tried it... its good, improvement in Graphical interference.. but most of the Addons are not supported in 3.0 yet..

look man... I was just wanting to PREVIEW it. I KNOW that it's a BETA version, if you read my other post you would see that I just said that I wasn't intending to USE it as a FINAL RELEASE.

It's cool, has a few neat goodies going on different then v2.
I always say, for the 'Software Junkies' you need to have a copy of VMware Workstation, take a snapshot when it's all clean and the way you like it, then install away in there with all the different apps you want to check out, and when you're done reinstall your snapshot and put the OS back to a clean state before all the installs... ;)
VMware Workstation no PC geek should be without it...

i really like how you can see yr history in the adress bar with just a few letters from anywhere in the url. Im so used to using that feature that even though its unstable i couldnt just go back to using 2...

I used Firefox 3 beta in Ubuntu. So far good. But they should fix all the bugs and make it superior to Internet Explorer unlike the Firefox 2.x

There may be security holes in a beta, but I would rather use Firefox than Internet Exploder.

Haven't used 3, but I've seen a screenshot. It looks so much better, at least its GUI for Mac OS X, the operating system I frequently use.

I've tested it and it seems a little bit more faster but I can't use it until my favourite add-ons are compatible, so I'm sticking to firefox 2 for now.

installed firefox 3 about about 1 week ago. at first i thought that it was a softer, more commercial version of firefox 2, but after using it for a bit, i realized that it's still basically the same browser i fell in love with. web pages and the whole program actually load faster, and as far as my addons are concerned, with the exception of 3 or 4 they've all been updated to work on version 3. it also uses up less RAM :)
my advice to whomever is reading this is if you're not already running firefox switch to it immediately cuz now it's better than ever !
