Distributed DHT

I understand that some torrent sites prefer that members disable DHT. Does DHT allow other trackers to share a given torrent?

Do most of you disable DHT?

yes we do!

its in most tracker's rule..

and i think that if the torrent is not made private and the DHT is enabled you can download even if you are not member of the private tracker! provided of course that you have the .torrent file :)
