And I thought I was the only one encountering this problem.

I am seeing the same thing. Since it updates once every 24 hours, you never know what you are gonna see.

I have the same problem I upload 2 GB but tracker report 700 MB
I guess I know what the problem is. Many torrents are mirrored on other trackers too and inferno isn't the only one tracking them (for example, I'm downloading National Geographic Magazine Complete Set which is tracked by like 10 others including thepiratebay, sumotracker, etc, etc.), and I think this should be doing it.

Because it is not completely private (have external torrents, allow public to dl)

yea i think that the point..
if u are going to upload a lot and want it counted better delet all the external tracker of your torrents and keep only the demonoids one:)

This isn't anything new guys, demonoid has been well known for failing to keep up with its users ratios. It's hit or miss, but the ratio isn't very important at demonoid anyways. They tell you to watch it, but they don't care. I think the only time they'll ban someone is if they have a ratio of 0.0001 or less

my ratio at demonoid is 1.89 and it should be around 10 :)
It got a lot better when i turned off DHT.
Maintenance at the site is around 10:20 - 10:50, at that time your stats are updated.
(time is local, Croatia, Europe)
yeah i dnt think they are updating ratios yet..

It may not be important, the ratio and everything but it sure pisses me off seeing that I've uploaded merely 15 GB when it should appear at least 80.

Demonoid has always been a bit weird in updating their ratio but since they don't really care, they see no need to do it differently. My stuff still updates but their is a trick to it. I am using the same technique as I did before it went down so nothing new. ;)

Yeah, same problems. I've tried 5 different clients and from two different ips. With rtorrent my downloads aren't counted but uploads are. I've gotten no ratio changes with Azureus, Transmission, or utorrent. I think I'm having the best luck with Tornado. I don't think its very accurate and takes a day or two to update. But it seems close.

Since the reappearance of Demonoid I've found the counter doesn't count everything reliably at all. Both the download and upload are not counting much.
