The Reputation System

Hey,

In the time i've been a member here, i've received rep 3 times now, and i have posted more than a 100 posts, still, no green rep blocks appear next to my name. Why is this? Is it meant to show rep only for others? Or does it update in intervals? Or does it show 1 block for 5 reps?

I'm confused too, I've had 17 points and 4 green bars and now 20 points and still 4 bars so it cant be 5 points for 1 bar.

4 I guess, 3 for individual posts, and 1 for my 100 posts.

you have no need to guess, go to user cp and look at
"Latest Reputation Received x point(s) total"

I'm kinda confused now, there's 3 listings of rep received, but the top says " 0 point(s) total" :S

Also, getting 100 posts should give you a rep point.

I looked my self in your profile and the rep's you've received are from members that have no rep points them self, so it doesn't count yet. They must earn 5 points before it counts to you.
But for the 100 post you should have get 1 point.
