Message From TL

"We were forced to ban a few thousands of accounts that were completely inactive for weeks, due to the fact, that there are cases of people selling their accounts. We are determined to find every single account sold (and we will) and ban not only the one who sold it but also the one who bought it and the one who invited the seller too.
We give a last chance to anyone who bought an account, to come forward and admit it, and in honor of helping us find the seller, we will spare his account. If we find it ourselves, he will lose his account along with the seller. Anyone who wishes to come forward should pm *******"

So Its quite risky to trade Accs there. Probably one of the method is watching IP locations. Suspicious when someone logs in from Germany and later after trading lets say Vietnam :)

Yeah...lost my ScT acct cuz I used it while in the UK for a few months..got home to the US and got banned. Never had my acct been accessed by two diff IPs in the same time period..no matter. Was even a regular donor...guess paranoia wins over financial support. Never an email or pm asking about my activity.

You should go on their IRC channel and explain your situation to them. I'm sure they would let you back in.

IMO it is utterly ridiculous to expect someone to be responsible for those they invite, I mean I can hardly control my own actions let allow someone else’s, especially when just about every torrent site posts a notice that they can't control what users post, dispite the fact that they can edit or delete anything they want, while users have no control at all over what people do once they arrive. I have to say that these sites set up this invite system, not for security or any reason than to create some exclusive environment where people have to treat the admins like gods because they control access to the content. The whole thing has nothing to do with sharing, being if they did honestly want to share they would keep invites open and then only close the site when it gets to a point their server can't handle more users.

They created a system where you NEED to buy an account and then they are punishing people for the system they set up. It is stupid and foolish to punish people without even thinking about changing the way they do things. And also it is very silly that they care so much about people stealing from their members but don't care at all about their members stealing from movie companies etc . . .

/end of rant ;)

i agree to a certain extent
i understand if the individual who invited the abuser gets his invitation privaledges lowered or revoked as this seems a just punishment

banning the account however goes way to far..

Thought about it..but knowing what an ass Feeling is, I don't think it'd do much good. Already emailed him @ScT explaining it all. No response...same happened when I donated during a promo and didn't get my 10gb bonus for donating. Pm'd 3 times concerning that..never a response..and I was even a power user. My only hope would be for someone who knows Feeling to talk to him on my behalf...not holding my breath on that one tho.
