I have dynamic IP and when i need to get something using Rapidshare I always have to unplug my router (new IP).

I was wondering if I could run some command or maybe theer is some small software that would do the trick for me ??

Yeah there is software such as cryptload or RSD this programms have an additional programm which name is "router control" that connects and disconnects the router automatically, you can use it separately but you must see if your router is supported. I will find the list of supported routers if you are interrested.

Thanks man but I know about this software and my router isn't supported so that won't work for me.

Then you must make a .bat/.dat data on your own for your router its not really difficult to do with a manual but unfortunatelly I found only a site in german http://www.routercontrol.de/ the programm to do this called "rcedit" search the net if you can find something in english.

A common trick is to spoof your MAC address.

Spoof your mac address is actually the changing of the mac address but I can't see how this gonna help to connect and reconnect the router automatically.
aspen you have to explain that in more detail.

Also lately I started to use some download managers USDownloader seems pretty good but it took me a lot of time to configure it (all is in Russian and i had to use google to get the meaning) Any way it's working now pretty good but still it does leave IP problem.

I just wonnder has anyone tried CMS Grabber, is it any good in terms of fooling RS and stuff. They say you just have to find list of proxies but I don't think it will work.

Yes it works I used it a few times but you must find a working proxy, there are a lot of proxy check software and sites in the web but still 8-9 of 10 proxys are beeing used so it will take a while before you get a few working.

If you can handle mediocre to slow speeds, try Torpark.

If you log in to your router, most routers have an option to "DHCP Release". You can click that instead of uplugging your router.

However, I mentioned MAC spoofing since not all ISP's will assign you a new address because it sees the same MAC address. A new MAC will force it to choose a new ip. Your issue is probably not this complicated. Look to google for details on spoofing...they have nice 'point and click' tools for windows.

isn't this just like running a command
ipconfig release

Close, its ipconfig \release

BUT

That will release your ip from the router, not the isp...that's why I mention logging into the router to release the DHCP.

If you log into your router then you can simply restart it or make manually connect/reconnect, I see no need to realese the DHCP.
