I've got vista installed , have router and decided to install PG 2 When i ran it and visited myip.dk and showed my real IP adress How come? Should't this software actually show some fake IP ??

PeerGuardian 2is usefull for block ips you can set and block some network and persones ips..
why you want to use PG ?if you wanna block some ips for utorrent .Utorrent's ip block is more usefull : )

what about surfing the net will it hide my real IP ?

No, it does not hide your ip.

Peer guardian stops ur computer communicating with other "bad" IPs. It doesnt hide your IP address.

If you wanna hide ur IP use a proxy server or similar ;-)

yea PeerGuardian 2 is not hide your ip only block some ip ranges and ips you can use "hide ip platinium" for hide your ip or you can use proxy

Watch you don't use proxy on private trackers you will get banned

As already said to you...

PG is not for hiding your IP...Its for blocking other IPs connecting to yours..

Every way u try to hide your IP will most likely cause problems to ur torrenting..like tracker not recognising, bans etc...

If you care about hiding your IP while downloading concider using a seedbox :)
