Just wondering if anyone knows how to flash a SATA DVD-rom drive. I have a drive I want to flash with a .bin file and I am not sure how to do it or what software to use to do it.

Your vendor's home page should include a utility to flash your drive, although most files these days are self-installing. What make/model drive is it?

are you trying to flash firmware to the drive to use on a wii?
if you are: have you considered a usb gecko for it?
you could try having a look at this post - hope it helps mate :-)

Apparently a few utilities are out there that can flash it - Memdump, Flashsec and Dosflash were mentioned in a quick google search.
